But that wouldn't be FAT quarters... just 1/4 yards. There is a difference.... they wouldn't be as wide.
OOOpps. Guess you already realize that the in addition to being cut into four 1/4-yard WOF strips, each full yard of fabric can instead be cut into 4 fat quarters. Square inches of fabric is the same, but pattern repeats might differ. Sounds like a plan to me!
