Well, you seem surrounded by an abundance of places to get your
fabric fixes!

Here, on the other side of the mountains the pickin's are sllim. There is
one quilt shop on Oracle and Orange Grove, but their prices are so high
for fabric and notions that I get discouraged every time I stop by.

Do you belong to the Tucson Quilter's Guild that Northern Deb mentioned? I'd love to join, but again, it's just too far away.

I've been responding to feature stories in the AZ Daily Star that feature
people who are struggling with health issues or who are refugees from war torn countries.

Besides those outlets for my quilts, I try to make one a year for
Tu Nidito, the Tucsonl organization that assists families with children who have chronic life threatening diseases or who are in the terminal phase of their disease. Quilts are really treasured there.
