It's really a great way to get your feet wet with handquilting, and in my opinion wholecloths are easier to quilt than pieced quilts because you don't have to go over any seams. All you need is your backing & batting (and, of course, binding when finished). I just really love the simplicity of handquilting. I thoroughly enjoy the process, and the more you do it the easier it gets. For those interested in learning, why not just jump in and give it a try? :thumbup:
