Homemade Ketchup
4 quarts crushed tomatoes
1 pint of vinegar
3 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons black pepper
3 crushed red peppers
½ ounce allspice
½ ounce mace
Mix all ingredients in a large pot and reduce by two-thirds.
