They would wet their pants to keep them satisfied. But does WM do it? NO! The WM in Mineola, TX says that they (the staff there who sews) do not get a chance to pick. They are just told what is going to show up. Their fabric is very loose weave, made in China, and not pretty at all. So depressing that a big company like that with such a BIG clientele (US), does not get it. I am giving up on them and let them quit selling fabric if they are going to sell junk. :(
I totally agree and understand how you feel. BUT WM is not there to please the masses..they are there to make $$$. THe majority of WM customers can not afford to go to the LQS or buy good quality fabric. SO, WM has its own niche in the sewing/crafting world and this is fine. I do not have to buy their fabric for my GOOD projects there are plenty of other venues for that. BUT many have no other resource and WM is there for them.
At times in the past WM had decent fabric that was great for home dec items, gift bags, crafting, etc. But what they have HERE in our local WM now is not even worthy of that!
