http://www.quiltingboard.com/virtual_section_list.jsp all finished tops and quilts have been grouped here (by me!) and most times ppl show their original fabric so you can see which kinds of fabric you like best. Re the books - if you may want to do hexagons or octagons, get 'One Block Wonders', if you only like the hexagons and might want to do the cubes one day get 'One Block Wonders Encore'. If you REALLY love the cubes and are good at maths, get 'One Block Wonders Cubed'. I bought all three and have made around 25 of the things! LOL I'm now teaching workshops but all my ladies are recommended to buy a book as well. :-D
EDIT Sorry, just read back to Iraxy's post - good advice there - and I didn't mean my comment about how many I made to sound like one-upmanship. :-D
