I am so happy to report that my daughter was able to finally return to her apartment in the First Ward neighborhood of Binghamton, NY. Her 2nd floor apartment was not damaged in any way, but due to the rising flood waters, the basement was completely flooded out and left her water heater out of commission.....this resulted in the City condemning hers and all the surrounding homes. She was an evacuee for 14 days - all I can say is thank God for the kindness of her friends who took her and her two kitties in.
