Before that I read, "The Kept Woman" by Susan Donovan. Not the kind of book I usually read but I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
I also recently read "The House of Thunder", another older Dean Koontz book. It had a really surprising twist at the end.
I remember reading "Mr. Murder" after a good friend had recommended it! It was great, a little scary even, but very hard to put down, I agree!...
