My son has a one person business - he services businesses to take care of all their computer problems, including installations, installing software, selling hardware, etc - any way he has reached the point he could use a person to answer the phone, do some simple debugging, etc. He would prefer the person to come to his office but could probably arrange for someone to do this at their home. No customers involved. Most smaller cities have businesses like this that are at the point they could use someone who could work for them but they haven't grown to the size they need to rent office space in a building. You need to locate the business and talk to the business owner. They probably can't offer benefits, but then you could work at home, no work wardrobe, no travel expenses, etc. Maybe a win/win for some of you.
