We would put on talent shows for my mother and she would be so proud of us. There was four of us so splitting a dollar worked out perfectly. We were poor. My brother died at 39 so now there are three of us and one of the first thoughts I had at his funeral was how in the world we were going to split a dollar among the remaining three of us fairly.
