All the recommendations for the tools you will need are great but I didn't notice the one thing I tell all my new quilters to have on hand ---- bandaids!
Those that quilt will get needle/pin pricks, cuts, scratches, burns etc.
A quick bandaid and you're set to keep on quilting!
Feel free to jump in on the board and ask any questions you may have along the way. You will find someone or many who have already 'been there, done that'.
