I don't exactly 'let' Puddin' lay on my quilts... She does what she pleases.... you can shoo her off , but other than closing the door to the sewing room; you can't keep a cat off anything.... If I have something that's a gift, I make sure I put everything away each time I take a break or cover it with plastic... On something for myself... she'll be on it eventually, so if she wants to 'help' I let her.
