I love this idea. Especially since you don't need to square the block up until it's finished, so you don't have to trim all those odd size squares. I have the "Tucker Trimmer" to square up half square and quarter square triangles and I use it ALL the time.

How about making 1/2 sq triangle blocks, then trim them to be square after you seperate the two pieces... gosh I hope you understand what I just said.... LOL
