The birds we get are extremely territorial at when they first arrive in the spring.
After a few weeks they tend to relax a little.......a little
We have one male that sits on our rain gauge, which is about 4 feet from their feeders. He seems to be the dominant one.
He'll let some birds feed and others he chases away.

They're so funny!

I call him "Johnny On The Spot". He is there so quickly nobody else can get a drink. He lets me know when the feeder is empty by coming to me and just hovering around 4 feet from my face, little bugger!
