Martie sent me this beautiful quilt for LAQ.
This is such a labor of love. Each square is embroidered and I believe she said she was giving this quilt to her grand daughter. What a gift!
I just needed to go in and accent what she did. SO I quilted a stipple around the applique designs and put 2 different designs in the square in a square fabrics. I left the sashing alone and finished it off with a feather. Beautiful quilt to pass on.
I quilted everything freehand on my INNOVA. We used hobbs polydown batting.
