I have finally finished designing a rag memory quilt for my stepson's 50th birthday and want to start printing out the pictures. I am very much a newbie, so bear with me. I have fabric that you can print on and I also just bought Leslie Riley's Transfer Artist Paper. It's supposed to wash up very well after you iron it onto fabric. Since I am making a rag quilt, I like to rinse them at least two or three times to get the full "ragging" I possibly can. My question is this? Will the photos fade? I am going to print the photos in black and white to give it an antique feel. All input and advice is most welcome. Thank you all!

Well I tested the Transfer Artist Paper...TERRIBLE! I then printed on T-shirt transfer paper, not bad. Looks like I will have to print on fabric then sew it. I am getting very frustrated with this whole process. Reisizing the photos about put me over the edge!!!!! Help!!!!!! I need encouragement. My stepsons Mom already said to just do a scrapbook. No, No, No! I want to make him a special rag quilt.
