i've made more quilts than i can count or rmember. guess what ...

i STILL struggle to get each one done! I always make at least 3 boneheaded mistakes during each project. I usually waste at least one yard of fabric and have a few blocks left because (a) they came out too wrong to fix; and/or (b) i lost them (i think the dogs hide them because they're jealous of my sewing machine :lol: ) and I never find them until i'd made replacements.

MY quilting tool kit includes two sizes of seam rippers and a pair of tweezers for pulling the little bits of thread.

i decided a long time ago to accept that mistakes - for me anyway - are inevitable. I try to turn them to my advantage. I always learn something new (or am reminded of something important i forgot). someday, they will each be a chapter in a book. i'll bet it sells like hotcakes!!! :lol:
