Went to a funeral yesterday for a the father of a dear friend. A gentleman in the service stood up to tell about him giving him his first job and later on to be a friend and mentor. All of his greatgrandchildren took the mic and told about what a wonderful grandfather he was. These kids were 6 to 9 years old. The oldest boy being nine put his tie in the casket and a note for pap to read on his journey to heaven. He had taught the grandchild to tie the tie and he wanted to show pap that he had learned how to do it right. It was so moving!
