This is not true. If you already have compromised kidneys (as you and I as diabetics may have) then too much protein should be monitored.

But for other, healthy individuals this is not a concern.
Does a blood test tell you this? After all the medical stuff I have gone through lately I am sure that would be something that the doctor would of mentioned. Well if I decide to go with this diet I will definitely let everyone know how well or how unwell it goes
I'd talk to your doctor. You might not know; I have a urinalysis every three months, but if you haven't peed in a cup lately it's probably not something you've had tested. ;)
