I had the colorfast issue with a fabric that I purchased at JoAnn's a number of years ago. No matter how many times I washed that fabric it bled. Which, even being a prewasher, didn't realize until the quilt was completed. Gave the quilt with a box of color catchers and told Bro & SIL to NEVER wash that quilt without the color catchers. I don't think it ended up being an issue cuz I think SIL stuck it in a closet!
