To fix the problem you have to put the feed dogs up before you turn your machine off. Then when you turn it on again you make one reg. stitch then drop the feed dogs and start quilting.

This has worked for me for the last 2 years and I've quilted about 20 quilts since then with no problem. Try it. Hope it works for you too. Bonnie
Hi...oddly enough I tried that too....I left the feed dogs up for a while, then dropped them and for the rest of the time it was fine even stopping and starting and moving from one area to another....it's just such a bizarre thing.

The reason I haven't gone back to the dealer is that I bought it second hand from a Husqvarna Viking dealer and don't think they would really know too much about it....and felt it was safer that they didn't mess with it.
