The Aldi in UK seems to be slightly better than the french version for fresh fruit, veg and the bread and cakes.
In France and the uk I find the frozen food good and they do white chocolate and cranberry cookies...my gosh they are a very special cookie :O)
They have special offers twice a week with a variety of things for sale, sewing machines, books, garden stuff, computers, tvs etc etc... do you have lidls in the us yet ?
I buy almost everything at ALDI. When we were in France we went just once but it's nothing like ALDI here so we never went again.
