That is fantastic. I have a quilt my grandmother made when my father was 10 or 11. He is almost 89 now. The problem is my grandmother used it lots and the applique is coming lose in most places. I have it on a quilt rack at the end of my hallway. The best part of it all is I have picture of my grandmother standing in front of the quilt after she finished it. I can't bring myself to doing anything to restore it as I feel it would take away from it.

I also have one that she made in the 1960's. Which is in really good shape.
