...I know you can get a recipe for this anywhere, but this is the one I used last weekend (I went strawberry picking and came back with £15 worth!!) to make some jam....

2kg strawberries, tops trimmed off
1kg sugar
juice and rind of two lemons

Throw it all in a big pan, heat slowly until the sugar has dissloved, stirring well. Then turn the heat up high and boil rapidly until you have reached setting point - you can tell this by putting a drop of the jam onto a saucer that has been in the fridge. Allow to cool for a moment, then push your finger through it. If the drop of jam 'wrinkles', it is ready. Pour into sterilised jars, seal tightly and store in a cool dark place.

This came out really well, and is YUMMY!!!!
