I have a machine that has 2 needle locations. It starts with the left one when turned on but the right hand position is the one I use for 1/4 inch. I had been embroidering and took the unit off and went back to sewing on my quilt. Sometime later when I started putting together the row I discovered they weren't 1/4 inch.
