That is a beautiful quilt, and looks like it was used and well loved for a long time. I have a small quilt made for me by my great grandmother when I was a baby. Some of the fabric is worn--looks like muslin and was probably not very thick. The quilt is about 68 years old. I'm thinking of framing it to protect the fabric.
