We are in Rhode Island - 5 minutes from the ocean. I don't think I could live somewhere and be landlocked. Have lived in Washington, D.C. and in Connecticut. Spent time in San Diego, Florida and Texas. Have never found anyplace that I would pick up and move to but want to check out the Carolinas for retirement. Came here for work purposes and overall like the area. There is always something to do - or nothing to do if that's what you prefer!
