someone needs to check your foot pedal. there are reasons
when they run slow.
Also the wires that wrap the motor may need cleaning. Between myself and my daughter we have three of them. Two of them run like lightening. The third runs slower even with the pedal to the metal. I was told that it may need to have the armature cleaned or possibly a new motor. If it is running correctly it runs just as fast as any other machine I have. Ann in TN
