I had a foster parent track me down and say that she'd recently had a boy come in from a meth lab house. The social workers burned everything he owned, due to health hazard. The first night absolutely all he had was a loaned pair of PJs, new sheets and my quilt. She said that I could not imagine how important that quilt was.

The quilts you donate show a child that someone knows and cares that he/she is alive.
Thank you QM for this opportunity to share with you the value of our giving hearts.....not that we need to hear any praises or acknowledgement. I think all of us have the feeling that there is a personal touching story behind each and every gift of love.
