Reading and following a pattern is not my best attribute. I am still trying to learn. In the meantime, I just make my designs up and go from there. This method has good and bad points, since I get all involved in my own creativity, when I should be spending the time "learning" to follow a pattern. I figure, since I am so lucky to be retired, I have the rest of my life to figure out how to do that. In the meantime, I just do what I enjoy.

Thanks for the nice comments. The board really knows how to boost a quilters ego.
