I also am a fairly new quilter; for about a year and a half. I have sewn clothing since I was ten, but did not quilt. I finally started when we had an Iowa ice storm that brought down power lines for five days. Fortunatlely, we had a generator for our electricity. I wish I would have started many years ago. I believe it can become an addiction.
