The bed risers did not raise it up enough... It was a few inches too short with the bed raisers.
The table is very heavy. Maybe that's all it is - just the weight of the table itself.

I built mine using two 4' book cases from Wm as the ends, and plywood on the top, then cleats in the middle and more plywood for a shelf between the two book cases!
