I always want fast access to stuff I use regularly at the the sewing machine without digging through cup holders or just laying them around.
I took a sheet of metal, wrapped fabric, and now use magnets to hold my objects. I just reach up and grab. The magnet stays in place and when I am done and just lay them on the magnet and it holds. :)
