Now I know what one of the long arm quilters must have been talking about when she wrote about the freezer paper method. I had no idea as I have only used freezer paper for applique and paper piecing I couldn't fathom how one would use freezer paper for marking a quilt top.

You are welcome Feline, I have only just twigged this for myself too, and am kicking myself I didn't twig earlier. You can machine stitch through the freezer paper too (use a fairly small stitch) and it tears away almost as well as ordinary copy paper. I used this method when quilting some feathers that I wasn't too confident doing totally freehand.
