That is stunning Anna!

I too have oodles of buttons. After much prodding, I told my grandmother that was the one thing I wanted. She opened up the box and there were big buttons from her mother's wedding dress from the 1880's as well as many, many antique ones. I have to old, precious ones strung on poster board cut to fit in a plastic page protector so they don't get scratched. I used dental floss to string through the shanks and button holes, stronger and easier than thread.
