First thank you stitchinbee for your diagram of the carpenter's wheel/ star.
Thank you quilting board because it exist so I can find things like that.
The carpenter's star had always been at least three on my list of quilts to make, but the directions of the two patterns I have didn't make any sense.
Stitchinbee-thought the same thing and she published her breakdown by blocks and numbers.
She left open any size block anyone wanted.
I downloaded the chart and spent the night preping for my pratice piece.
The hardest part was cutting the squares and hafl, squares. By the end of my work night 10p.m. My 18 inch carpetner's star was finished. I loved it, got very excited, and sang the virtues of this site to my daughter.
