It is a joy to know someone else likes samplers also. Welcome from your capital city, St. Paul!!!!!! Waiting to hear when you guys get snow. I did hear, however, that the colors are glorious up there now, especially on the road up to Grand Marais and the Boundary Waters. Love that area up there. Our initials are carved in the "light house" on the pier down by the lake by the Lift Bridge. We put the year down every year we were there until someone sandblasted the whole thing and that blew our trip diary to Duluth! The initials were R.R. No. 1 Husband carved it with a pocket knife. Thank God I got pictures because that was back in the late 60's and early 70's when are son was just a little boy.
You will enjoy the Quilting Board enormously. Be sure to check out the recipes. They are sooooo good!!!!! What I like the most is that they are not gourmet, but good hearty, inexpensive and comfort food!
Enjoy the day. Edie
