Can your husband car pool to this? If so then you can drive in the next day and come back home together. Or could he fly in? Is it possible that a couple quilt friends would like to go, get a room, and you gals could play during the day? You would still have evenings with hubby and they could do whatever in the evenings. Split car expense with your friends and it would make the trip even more reasonable. I'd sure find a way to try to make the trip.
