Remind her gently that the instructor usually has some connection with the shop and her job is to SELL as well as teach. Quilters are all different personality types. She sounds like the perfectionist, bless their sweet soul. I'm semi perfectionist, meaning I self judge harshly, and I simply would love to be the wonderful carefree daring quiltist, which you sound like you are.
