I am sticking head out from behind the wall here and say I do not understand why people make quilts from selvedges. My feelings are, but it's a personal opinion, that the selvedges are often hard and unforgiving in texture so would the quilt be rather stiff to touch? The writing and colour pallettes are also rather odd to see . I respect the skills involved in stitching those pesky bits together, and there must be a sense of satisfaction making somethig from waste. Those thoughts though are not enough to persuade me to make one. Well done for your achievement. I hope my comments are accepted without upsetting anyone.
