I emptied and repainted and rearranged my 10 x 12 space. It feels more open but still needs shelves above my computer space. When that is done I will move the stuff on the shelves in my bedroom and only the long arm will be in my bedroom. My lighting is still a problem. I would love can lights in ceiling but will have to wait for some extra $$(we are going on vaca next week, must have priorities) as we are not handy and I don't want the house to burn down. :D Would also like laminate floors next year. Would you believe, with all of this I still do my cutting on the dining room table! For me it is the correct height, it is large a barely ever used. I just keep my big mats on the table under the table cloth!

This sewing desk top opens to the back. It was a dark brown when I got it off craigs list. Husband says shabby chic paint job "needs another coat since I missed some spots". What does he know, all his taste is in his mouth.

Last but not least, behind the skirt. I drew a computer holder with specs and gave it to dad and he made that nice thing that my printer, scanner and tower is on. It has wheels that you cannot see because of the carpet.
