They are made from a woven plastic. They took a half yard of fabric to line and 2 yards of webbing for the handles. Need to figure out how to put a pocket in them.

I don't know where you get your webbing - - - BUT if you have an Army Surplus store around check them out (if you don't already get that stuff donated to you). I think I paid around 50 cents/yd. for the 1-1/2" width - I stocked up and it's been 6 mos or more so am not exactly sure of the price, but I know it was a lot less than the fabric store! They had about 6 or 7 different colors, some cotton and some synthetic, and, as I recall, about 3 different widths.
