Her quilts are gorgeous! I am an intermediate quilter and bought one of her patterns at IQF Houston in 2009. (In the past I have made a judy niemeyer quilt without too many issues if that gives you an idea of what level I am)
Beware that she is not a native English speaker and I have found the translations to be hard to understand.
I have found that the pattern that I paid $40+ for didn't provide a real breakout of the different pieces. But instead were very large pieces that you have to copy on an oversized copier and then cut apart yourself. And you would have to make extra copies because the seam allowances were not included
For example say it was a non-straight checkerboard strip. Instead of having a piece that is just two pieces together, it is the whole strip with the lines being where the pieces were sewn together. I just felt there was way too much drafting of my own pattern involved.
Then in the list of supplies, she hasn't given good directions on how much of how many colors that you need. Actually I find it very confusing. So I would actually suggest buying the whole kit where someone has already put together what is needed. My only concern with that would be the range of colors in some of her patterns....for example, there could be 8 values of yellow alone. One website that sells the pattern actually states it calls for over 200 different fabrics!
So to this day it is sitting on a shelf not completed and I am actually thinking of putting it on the For Sale forum here to at least get some of my $s back.
eta: the one I have is "listen with your eyes" and I am not sure she is even selling it anymore. Some of the newer ones do seem a bit more basic and possible done better.
eta2: some of her newer ones look like they do include all the foundation papers too.....so I would recommend starting with one that does!
