Spoke with a Western PA auctioneer recently and he says it is a lucky auction if the Featherweights even go above $200. He said a few years back they easily went for almost double today's price. He also said that today folks are looking for decent case condition, intact machines and at least a few attachments/manual. I guess economic times make us a little more picky about what we are paying for today. You might want to check out flea markets in your area and let every NON-Quilting friend know that if they have any old machine that you would like to see it before they get rid of it. Might be your lucky day!
