Stunning quilt!!! You did an awesome job on the piecing!!! My suggestion also, echo quilt it about 1/4 inch from the seam, and maybe a flying geese or triangular quilting on the border....
And my two cents, I never have a problem hand quilting through batiks...THey are pretty much all I use... Waiting for pics when it is quilted!
