I think a few on here may need to make a lap quilt using the patience block and use it.
bookworm said there is no restriction on when you open so I'm guessing there are a few here who are opening upon receiving. I could see it giving a little relief during the season especially after a very hectic day.
Well before getting on and catching up with the comments my thought was that since it is a New Year swap to counter the hectic schedules of the holiday season, and they are mailed during the hectic season that maybe it was originally intented for opening after New Years. But since bookworm said there was no time set for waiting, I'm thinking that maybe that is what I'll do, wait till after N.Y. I may even enjoy it more after New Years when it is calmer and quieter.
