There has been a difference of opinion on how easily batiks are quilted, how about if you do maybe a small, scrappy piece and hand quilt to see how it works? Longer stitches don;'t bother me if it works!!!!
I love batiks and find them easy to quilt, use betweens, #7 to #9....Just my experience....
