Wash it twice. Once in a pet urine removal detergent from the pet store and then in a regular enzyme detergent. That'll make sure there is no 'hidden' scent that will prompt some future cat use plus make sure there are no lingering bacteria that will spread or harm some future handler. Or just make your cat a quilt for Christmas. :lol:
