I really do like the 3-D Pinwheel quilts, and can see so many possibilities.

However, I do wonder what happens to the 3-D pinwheel when you wash/dry your quilts?

Does the 3-D handle it OK?
Or does it need some special attention? and/or fluffing? ironing?
or do you end up with one bedraggled and sad looking pinwheel?

I’m thinking of using this pattern for a lady's Passage Quilt.
It would look lovely on delivery, though I fear the after effects.

Please tell me about life of the 3-D Pinwheel after it's been thru the washer and dryer!!!
Many Thanks!!
