the smart cars are so small. This past winter after one of our rare snow storms which put a lot of ice on the road a smart car was going down the road and hit a patch of ice and the car litterly slid sideways straight across 4 lanes of traffic and since the snow was built up along the side it went up over the snow and crashed into the underpass cement; to say the least that is the last time that car was driven. They are great on gas but I don't think there is enough weight to hold them to the road in bad weather.
